In December 2016, the Rotary Club of Scarborough’s New Generations committee provided $2,000 to the Trailblazer Foundation, Cambodia.  Trailblazer provides significant grassroots support to Cambodian communities through health, food security, education and economic development programs.
Providing access to clean water is a fundamental pillar of Trailblazer's work in Cambodia and supporting these types of international projects is a passion of the New Generations committee. In early 2017, Trailblazer used the Club’s funds to deliver 16 biosand water filters to communities around Siem Reap Province, providing access to fresh drinking water and improving community health.
