The Rotary Centres for International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution is one of The Rotary Foundation’s Educational Programs initiatives and a major educational priority for achieving its mission of promoting global understanding and peace. Seven Rotary Centres have been established with outstanding universities throughout the world.
Each year, up to 60 Rotary World Peace Fellows are selected on a world-competitive basis to study for a one to two year graduate program leading to a master’s in international relations, peace studies, and conflict resolution; and up to 50 Fellows are selected to receive a professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies in a 3 month program.
The District Rotary World Peace Fellowships Committee is responsible for:
  • the promotion of the program,
  • the development of a marketing strategy for targeting fellowship applicants, and
  • the nomination of qualified candidates for appraisal for world-competitive selection.
