Rotaract currently has five clubs in this District –
Rotaract Clubs of Perth, Subiaco, Hillarys, Kalamunda & Mt Lawley.  The district committee works with and alongside Rotaract in a mentoring and in a support capacity. We set our objectives at the beginning of each Rotary year.
Rotaract was formed in 1968 by Rotary in the USA and has spread worldwide.   As at February 2014 there are 9,173 Rotaract clubs in 171 countries with an 211,000 members. That's one Rotaract for every four Rotary clubs and one Rotaractor for every six Rotarians.
Rotaract clubs are usually community or university-based and are sponsored by a local Rotary club making them true "partners in service" and key members of the Rotary family.
Through the Rotaract program, Rotaractors expand their knowledge and skills, and address the physical and social needs of their communities while promoting international understanding and peace through a framework of friendship and service. They help improve the lives of the people around them and in so doing they develop leadership and professional skills; and establish a network of friends. Rotaract is friendship in action.
